Blogging Is Dead (Twitter)

Blogging is officially dead, I called it. Unless you’re already a big player in the blogging game, there is no room for you in this saturated market. At least by utilizing a service like Twitter it is WAY easier to give updates which get the point across in a sentence or two.

My blogging project has failed (not the first time) and I’m moving shop to Twitter where I can give multiple updates each day.

Passive Aggressive Notes

This is the coolest site I’ve seen this week! Ever have an itch to leave a note publicizing someone else’s bad habit? I’ve done it several times and in all honesty it is a great way for me to deal with a situation as I’m not a person to person confrontational type of person. On this particular post someone leaves a note on a microwave for someone who didn’t reset the timer when they finished using it. I know I’ve left notes exactly like this before so I’m happy to see that I’m in good company. 8-)

Goodbye Telemarketers!

On February 15th the President signed into law the permanent do-not-call act. This means those of us who hate telemarketer calls won’t have to renew our do-not-call listing, ever! Score #1 for the President, probably the most sensible thing he’s done while in office.

On/Off Coffee Mug

This is possibly the coolest coffee mug I’ve ever seen! I honestly don’t drink that much coffee at home, but at work I might as well have an IV in my arm dripping the stuff into my system. This mug is sheer geekiness!

Pownce

Why is it that random people, whom I have no interest in (and doubt they have interest in what I have to say either), keep requesting friend status from my Pownce account? I can count on one hand how many updates I’ve made to my account there (I was part of the private beta too) yet people still seem to want me as a friend? Is it for their ego? I don’t get it.
